The Latin American and Caribbean Episcopal Council better known as CELAM, is a council of the Catholic bishops in Latin America, created in 1955.
Catherine Clifford is a professor of historical and systematic theology at Saint Paul University in Ottawa, Canada. As a researcher, she has focused on three areas: ecclesiology, ecumenism, and the history of the Vatican Council.
Dr. Clifford is also a member of the International Catholic-Methodist Joint Commission, participating in the work as a representative of the synodal process for North America.
